My Favorite Albums of 2022

SPOILER ALERT: Beyoncé’s Renaissance is not on my list.

I didn’t listen to much new metal this past year. No particular reason. Truth be told, I didn’t listen to that much new music in general this past year.

I spent a lot of time listening to my favorite classic rock and 80s alternative bands. I created a plethora of playlists (The Cure, Al Stewart, Peter Murphy, Gordon Lightfoot, among others), and took a deep dive down the alternative/grunge highway and created a massive 200+ song playlist featuring some of my 90s favs from Hum, Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, Sponge, Veruca Salt, Oleander and many others.

No fluff, just a list. I hope you find something new to enjoy!

Happy New Year! Have a wonderful 2023.
