“Crucifunkin'” is a 1990 song by Gruntruck, from the album Inside Yours. The band formed in 1989 in Seattle, Washington, by vocalist Ben McMillan and drummer Norman Scott, both previously from early Seattle sound pioneers Skin Yard. Sadly, Ben McMillan passed away in 2008, and as of 2017, the band is no longer.

“Renegades of Funk” by Rage Against the Machine

“Renegades of Funk” is a song written by Afrika Bambaataa, Arthur Baker, John Miller & John Robie and recorded by Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force. Released in 1983 as a single on the Tommy Boy label, it was also included on the 1986 album Planet Rock: The Album. In 2000, Rage Against the Machine recorded the song for their cover album Renegades. In addition to lyrics by Afrika Bambaataa, it features a percussion interpolation of the Incredible Bongo Band’s piece “Apache” and riffs from the Cheap Trick song “Gonna Raise Hell”.

“Funk #49” is a song written by Joe Walsh, Jim Fox, and Dale Peters, and recorded by American hard rock band James Gang. The song featured as the first single off the group’s second studio album James Gang Rides Again (1970). The song was a moderate success upon release, peaking at #59 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Funky Shit” by The Prodigy

“Funky Shit” is a song written by The Prodigy and The Beastie Boys and performed by The Prodigy. It is taken from their 1997 album The Fat of the Land, as was released as a promotional single in 1998.
