About

Hello! My name is Ken. I’ve been collecting vinyl, CDs, and cassettes for over 50 years.

I was bitten by the vinyl bug in 1975 when a 9-year-old me came across a copy of Aerosmith’s Toys in the Attic at a community sale. To this day, I still cannot accurately describe the feeling I had the first time I saw and picked up that album.

I take great pleasure in talking about physical media and writing about music.

My Vinyl Offering is my outlet to share my own personal media collection and more.

My Vinyl Offering was originally created as a feature for my heavy metal blog Inhale the Heavy (RIP) as a space where artists and musicians get up close and personal by sharing the most cherished parts of their physical media collection.

Due to its popularity, a standalone site was created and launched in 2019.

We expanded to include a handful of new features in 2022.

In 2025, we are revamping the site and will be adding album reviews and more.

Stay tuned!
