Morbid Saint - Swallowed By Hell In the vast world of heavy metal, there are some albums that manage to break through the noise and leave a lasting impact on listeners. One such album will be Morbid Saint’s Swallowed By Hell, an intense and boundary-pushing record that showcases the band’s mastery of blackened thrash and death metal.

After splitting up about half a decade following the release of their debut album Spectrum of Death in 1989, Morbid Saint reunited in 2010 and released their first album in 26 years, Destruction System, in 2015.

Releasing on February 9, 2024, this album will be the band’s third overall, and their first new material in 9 years.

Watch the offical video for “Swallowed By Hell” here.

From the very first track, Morbid Saint grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. The opening riff of “Rise From The Ashes” sets the tone for what’s to come – pure aggression and unrelenting energy. With lightning-fast guitar solos, blistering drum fills, and vocals that seem to emerge from the depths of hell itself, Morbid Saint unleashes a sonic assault that leaves you wanting more.

One of my favorite tracks on the album is “Pine Tuxedo,” a song that perfectly encapsulates the band’s unique blend of classic thrash metal with death metal elements. The relentless double bass drumming and intricate guitar work create a sound that is both melodic and punishing. All killer. No filler.

Step into darkness, embrace chaos, and let yourself be swallowed by hell.
